To celebrate 60 years in business, Drilling Service Co. restored a 1955 Chevy pickup into a “show rod,” painted in the company’s colors and wearing a circa-1955 Drilling Service logo.

The truck made its debut Saturday at a gala celebration hosted by Drilling Service in the sixth-floor ballroom of the Four Seasons hotel downtown (top photo, above). On Monday it appeared on the third hole of Whitmoor Country Club’s South Course at the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers annual golf tournament.

Drilling Service is a foundation drilling company with specialized expertise in such areas as drilled shafts, earth retention, micropiles, dewatering, and limited access work.
